I rarely do reviews but I had to in this case. These headphones have been produced for years. There's a reason for that. These headphones get consistently good reviews. There's a reason for that, too.
I do voiceover work, audiobooks mostly and the occasional radio spot. These headphones aren't colored (unlike Beats which are very bass heavy) so what you hear is an excellent representation of what's being recorded. These are also great for listening to music. As I said, they don't lean one way or the other, they're accurate representations of what the sound engineers wanted you to hear.

Great pair of headphones. So far I've used them for my DJ business, as well as some audio editing, and they've performed admirably well. Super durable as well. I'd definitely recommend. Some people might find the fit kind of weird (It's a little tight), but they've never fallen off my head.

Had to replace my Pioneer SE-205's which I received as a gift around June 1974 (still sound good but have a short in the wiring near the headpiece). These are comfortable to wear for 4-5 hours a night with no problem. They have a nice neutral sound without artificial bass added which would give me a headache. I have tone controls on my receiver to add that stuff if I want it. I cannot predict the durability, but they look sturdy enough to last for years. So far, so good. I would recommend this item for someone who doesn't have $300 or more to spend. Long cord is appreciated (and replaceable).

I bought these as a birthday gift to myself along with the complete Star Wars sound track and I can honestly say a shiver went up my spine when I first listened to Duel of Fates (if you do end up buying these headphones, listen to that song and you'll see what I mean). I use these to listen to music at home without waking or disturbing my room mates who have all remarked how astoundingly clear and crisp the sound is.

As a film maker and cinematographer, Ipurchased this set of headphones for monitoring audio during recording dialog during production as well as editing in post production.
These headphones provide awesome quality and clarity when compared to similar headphones in the same price range. I do not believe these would be a good fit for users who are looking to listen to music as their primary use of the headphones, as the bass response isn't comparable to headphones designed for music, DJ's, etc. However, if you are looking for a pair of headphones for monitoring and checking consistency of audio, these are a great fit.
They come with minium adjustability with two basic adjustments of lengthening and shortening the headband and a single axis pivot on the ear cup.
Storage is what you'd expect for a large set of headphones. The ear cups fold up and in to the headband's arch. The cord is a stretchable coiled loop with a single connection to the left ear cup.
Overall, these headphones are great for the price if it fits your needs and intended use.

Excellent sound, comfortable, I like the fact that the 1/4" adapter screws on, I also like the coiled cord. I've not had these headphones long enough to know how they are going to hold up long term, but as long as your somewhat careful they seem like they'll provide excellent sound and comfort for a long time. They are an excellent value for the cost.
A:AnswerHello- The PXC models are always noise cancelling capable (they have NoiseGard inside them to reduce droning, low frequency rumble). The HD series is "Headphone-Dynamic", meaning they are all dynamic headphones that go on or around your ear. The eH series stands for "evolution Headphone", which was designed for musicians who are into recording, DJ work or mixing/editing. There are various differences depending on the need and sound quality desired, but you get what you pay for-- our lower priced models are an excellent value and a great way to get awesome sound without spending a fortune. As you move up the line, expect better sound, more accessories and other features such as NoiseGard, etc.
A:AnswerHello-
These were built for professional use in the field in the most strenuous environments; film studios, broadcast trucks, recording studios, live sporting events and so on. These environments are extremely tough on equipment, however, the HD 280 was designed to withstand that abuse. It is extremely durable and has totally replaceable cables and padding for a long operating life (no more throwing away a headphone because there are no parts for it). The warranty is 2 years.
A:AnswerHello-
These headphones have a 40mm driver that produce accurate bass response. These headphones are linear in sound and are designed to be used in recording studio and film applications where the most natural and neutral sound is required.
A:AnswerThey sure can, in fact most headphone today come with a 1/4" stereo adapter which your 1/8" phone plug will plug into. If they don't come with this adapter, you can buy one at Best Buy too. Just remember to lower the volume before using your headphones.
A:Answer"Circum" refers to "Around" and "Aural" refers to "the ear"..these headphone cushions go around the ear. (latin) "supraural" or "supra-aural" refers to "on the ear"
A:AnswerI found an old binocular case that was a near perfect fit, and being a hard, lined shell offered some protection without scratching. other than that, if I were looking for another case I would head to the nearest 2nd hand store (salvation army etc.) A lot of things like polaroid cameras and similar sized items came in hard cases, like binoculars, and will likely cost less than 1$. If you'd prefer something that looked nicer check out the outdoor/camping, section of any big department store. A tackle box, or mini (6 pac) cooler come to mind it may be a little bigger than ideal but you can always put a mic. extra cable, mp3, c.d.'s whatever in with your phones to take up space.
A:AnswerHello- Hd 280 will give you fantastic value for the money spent. These are recording studio grade headphones used all over the world by professionals who seek uncolored, natural sound with extreme detail. The sound isolation is impeccable, up to 30 dB, which is quite significant.
