A Whale of a Wash, Oh My Gosh!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I loved this movie ever since I witnessed it in theaters. Now, it is finally on Blu ray! (with a digital to boot). All the actors do an excellent job of playing their parts in this rags to high-end reef tale. If you have never seen it, do it. Oscar (Will Smith) wants to get out of his dead end Whale-wash job and be a somebody. However, when he gets into severe financial trouble with his boss and is actually left for dead to sleep with the fishies, a crazy coincidence happens that has everyone thinking he is a Superhero Shark Slayer. Believing that he actually killed a shark (of course he didn't, a boat anchor accidentally did), he is propelled to stardom! However, when Don Lino (De Niro) and the Sharks (think Godfather type mafia) want to track down Oscar, all things start to get crazy. Throw in the fact Don Lino's Vegetarian son, Lenny (Jack Black) knows witnesses what happens and seeks asylum with Oscar because he doesn't want to take over the family business, then all hell breaks lose. A beautiful tale of telling the truth and knowing you are a somebody by who you are and the friends/family you keep are not wasted. This looks beautiful in 4K and the digital was easy to download. This has a dynamite soundtrack as well. I highly recommend this movie if you are ever feeling down at the bottom of the reef!

Pretty good
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed.Entertaining children’s film where a small non-goodlooking fish lies about his identity to get rich and get a fish lady only to realize that being rich ain’t that sick and there was already a lady fish that liked him. Also he makes friends with a shark that also has identity issues and wants to be a vegetarian…like who has ever heard of a vegetarian shark? 5 stars though because Robert Deniro and vincent pastore are in the shark mafia and thats a throwback to mafia movies with them. Also this movie has unparalleled humor when dubbed to spanish, only one that compares is shrek in spanish. Also I do not speak spanish.

decent movie
||Posted .This hip-hop/mob action comedy set undersea is fast, fresh, fun, and finny ... er, funny. OK, you watch the movie and see if you don't come out making silly jokes like that. This isn't a classic like Finding Nemo or Shrek, but it throws so much at you so fast you will be too busy enjoying yourself to notice. The plot is nothing special, but the visuals are, with eye-popping color and wonderfully expressive fish faces, hilariously funny and surprisingly touching. The voice talent is top-notch and the animators have managed to bring the essence of the actors to the characters. Don Lido has De Niro's birthmark on his cheek, and Oscar has Smith's eyes and mouth. There are dozens of gags and pop-cultural references and some bright musical numbers that keep things moving briskly, with a remake of the Rose Royce "Car Wash" song by Missy Elliot and Christina Aguilera a highlight.

Love this movie!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This is one of my personal favorite DreamWorks Animations movies, that I was so happy that they released it on Blu-ray. This is a fantastic movie for all ages to enjoy, Popular stars like Will Smith, Jack Black, Robert De Niro, Renne Zellweger, Angelina Jolie, and many other are present voices in Shark Tale. It has lots of vibrant colors and animations for the whole family to enjoy, and lots of laughs to enjoys as well. It has a cute story to it, and it teaches you about love, relationships, friendships, mistakes, and inspirations all in one movie!

Awesome Music.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. We loved this movie so much, the music is awesome, my son had his own copy and I always had to ask to watch it, but be subject to his rewinding to his favorite parts, Now I can watch it the whole through. And the price was very reasonable for a "second" copy.

Worth it for kids and family!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. To copy is the sincerest form of flattery they say and though this is not even close to a “Finding Nemo” clone, it still has a heart and it’s funny to boot! Jack Black and Will Smith bring their “A” game to voiceover work that elevates a story that is fairly pedestrian.
