Q: I need to replace a Sharp carousel convection microwave R-8320. What do you suggest?
A: I have had a Sharp R-8320 since it came out, what, 25 years ago? It has been absolutely great. Still working perfectly, except for the interior light. Which you don't really have to have. I am considering buying a new Sharp SMC1585BS, which looks a lot like the older one. But I don't know if this is a 1 for 1 replacement. I assume that the primary features are the same, but hopefully they have updated some of the features like having a 1 min. or a prefixed number of minutes button(s).
