B-Movie Goodness
A really good b-movie thriller with a great cast. It's very much of its time, but has a compelling story and a shocker of an ending. If you like potboilers like "No Way Out" (1987), "Masquerade" (1988), or "Wild Things" (1998), you'll love this one. Probably Berenger's best performance after "Platoon" and Greta Scacchi is at her most beautiful. Bob Hoskins is as great as usual. See it for the jaw-dropping ending, though, if for no other reason.
I luv this movie! I wanted a copy of it, and I am glad that I waited; now I have blu-ray! I thoroughly enjoyed it again. As I hadn't seen it in years, I had forgotten the storyline. It has its surprises.
