A: Yes, that is correct. And if I'm not mistaken, the 207 also has HD radio, a spot for a SiriusXM tuner, and Bluetooth while the 107 is only standard AM/FM and doesn't have the connector for the SiriusXM tuner. What I mean by the 107 not having Bluetooth, is that it's not true Bluetooth, as it is only used for the initial connection for wireless CarPlay and then the rest is done over WiFi.
A: The Woodbridge store installed one in my 2015 Rubicon without any issues. I did not get the backup camera though.
A: If you’re on maps and you receive a call the call screen will completely cover the map screen, not a split screen. The directions will continue with a pop up at the top of the screen. Another option is answer your call and just press the map app to display maps while continuing your call.
A: This unit has one USB port, however you can use an adapter if both of your USB’s are not a single connection. There is no HDMI input, but you can also buy an adapter for that. It will connect to your backup camera and work as long as it is the same voltage. Backup cameras installed in a vehicle are mostly a higher voltage and you will need a step down regulator. After market radios output a lower voltage and you will likely need an adapter or buy an Alpine Camera. Everything you have will work, but you will need the correct harness/adapters, etc., that are sold separately. Not to mention steering wheel controls will need an adapter. You can download the manual of this radio online, it is about 60 pages and will answer most of your questions.
Q: Does it already has the xmradio installed
A: If you're referring to SiriusXM radio, no it does not have SiriusXM radio installed.
A: Yes, this will work on 2008 Escalade with standard trim.
