Q: What are the differences between this and the STRZA1100ES model?
A: I am not sure all of the differences, but I know there is a more power in the 3100es. I believe there is the potential for 11 (9+2 phantom) channels of sound in the 3100 and 9 (7 + 2) channels in the 1100. I will say that I don't need all the channels on the 3100. I would be all about the 1100 if it was available, in my price range, and I didn't need 11 dang channels. Which I don't. I use five + a subwoofer. So I have zone two going to a headphone amp. Do you need the extra wattage? Depends on your room size. I bet the 1100 slams.
