Q: How is it powered? Does it draw power through the controller (Ps4)? How much battery drain?
A: This headset is unpowered, and as such it draws no power from the device to which it's connected and uses no batteries. This does mean that if plugged into your PS4 controller that it might run your controller battery down faster since you're adding an audio stream to the controller's connection, and because the controller now has to use a little power to produce the sound for the headphones.

A: The simple answer, yes. The long answer? As long as your iPad will support a 3.5mm inline mic headset or earbuds, then you will be able to use this headset fully, otherwise they will just be really good headphones.
