A: Tall shelf on left is 20 inches high Width is just short of 49 inches This is a good but small stand, I chose it for its size to use under a vaulted ceiling

Good and Bad
I'm stuck with a nice looking product, however, 3 out of 4 corners are bent, the area where the door was to be is damaged that when you open the door, it falls off...when closed it looks nice...got sick of it that I just took the door off. I wasn't going to put together and just return for a new one (again, great price and a great look (if you don't look at the damages) but NO ONE would help me...the phone line was 45 minute wait and when I emailed they said to call...I am a mother to 3 little boys, 2 are cardiac children...I DON'T HAVE TIME TO SIT ON A PHONE FOR 45 MINUTES. It's done and overwith...

GREAT BASIC TV STAND!
This tv stand is pretty easy and hard to set up by yourself. So, piece of advice to you is to have one other person with you because some pieces of wood are heavy and need a second hand to balance things. But, other then that does't stop the rating. its a perfect stand for what i needed it for! After setting it up, i was amazed on how much space i had left in my room. Got to fit my xbox 360 in one shelve and my old xbox in another. While on the button two side their two shelves (4 total) that you can adjust the height. I have my 32" LCD HDTV on it and it's holding perfectly while holding my game system, dvd's, music, and other items at once. The side space make look weird to you in the picture as i did at first. But, what i like about that space is me being able to put little things in that area like medication, deodorant, etc.. w.e. you can think of that you need quickly in the morning.

Great TV stand — annoying parts mixup
This TV stand looks great and fits everything we own really well. My only complaint is really with South Shore. There was one piece that was drilled incorrectly, and when we called them to ask for a replacement, they refused to ship it faster than two weeks, the cheapest shipping option for them, of course. Here we were, with an open box and parts and wood ALL over our living room floor, being told that we'd now have to wait 2 weeks to finish it. A company that made a mistake should go out of its way to fix its mistake as soon as possible — they should have overnighted that part to us WITH a coupon or rebate for our trouble. We ended up using wood glue so we could finish building it. Best Buy had nothing to do with this mishap, but buyers beware.
