Q: How are these cameras wireless if they require a power source?
A: True they need a power source but the video feed is Wi-Fi.
Q: Once the memory is full will it overwrite what's already recorded to keep recording?
A: Correct. I believe it keeps 24 days of recording then overwrites it.
Q: Are these cameras waterproof?
A: they are water resistant but not waterproof.
Q: How far can the cameras be front the DVR?
A: I have my farthest camera about 30 feet from the DVR and the signal is marginal to bad. It cuts in and out.
Q: Can I remote into the cameras via smart phone
A: Yes, if you download the APP you can see whats going on through your smart phone
Q: Can these be wired instead of wifi?
A: Yes there is an Ethernet port on the camera you can use to hook up to your router
Q: mic can you speak an hear both ways
A: Microphone only record from wireless camera only.
Q: Is there any monthly payment in order to use the app.
A: No, but I returned system to Best Buy for 2 reasons. 1. Complicated to setup. 2. Could not deactivate cameras when home in a simple manner. Otherwise get notice of motion.
