I didn't Know what to expect from this movie since I heard very little about it. The movie contains three Tales interspersed within the film. A very strange set of tales that include a Queen having to eat a creatures heart so she can give birth, A king who marries a Beautiful women who isn't what she seems, and a king who nurture's a flea and makes a terrible wager with his Daughter. The Blu ray Looks really great and sounds amazing too, as for the movie I was hoping for a bit more of something to these tales but still interesting.

Three unrelated (but loosely connected by the end) fantasy stories are intercut as each one develops. The dark tales are enhanced by great locations, sets, costumes and visual effects and performed by an international cast. The video and audio are excellent. The bonus features include a trailer, TV spots and a nearly hour long documentary about the making of the film that is well worth watching.

Its been raining here every afternoon for the past month. So I sat down to watch this "Tale of Tales". I liked it, somewhere between Hans Christian Anderson and the Brothers Grimm. Fairytales based on ancient Far Eastern children's stories? You will just have to watch it and see for yourself. Spoiler Alert: The Butler Didn't do it this time. :o) Enjoy. :o)
