A: yes, it sure does, or it is supposed to. If not, try unplugging the device from all and wait about 2-3 minutes. Then plug it back in to reset it.

A: The phone company sends ring back voltage on the line during or between the ring cycles that you can not hear. The stick can read these and can tell the difference between a phone or fax call.

A: It speaks the name only, along with the print of the screen is the name of caller.
