Good lens, not great but good

Q: QuestionWill this fit on my 60d?
Asked by dennyr.
- A:Answer I believe if it fits the 40D and it fits my digital rebel it will fit your 60D! You just have to check your connection , mine is 58mm. If you don't have the 58mm you can get an adapter. I don't think you'll need one. Happy photo shooting! Love this lens too! Awesome pictures!

Q: QuestionIs it a good lens for parties
Asked by Zay.
- A:Answer Unless your party is on a football playing field this lens is not a party animal, go with a wide angle lens to get everyone in the picture !

Q: QuestionWould you recommend a tripod with this lens or can you get a fairly decent picture without it? Have fairly steady hands. Is the zoom lens noisy when zooming in and out? Thanks
Asked by 2corgiz.
- A:Answer You can take great photos with this lens without a tripod, but the general rule is that 200mm and up take much cleaner clearer photos with a tripod.

Q: QuestionWill this fit a Sony A 6000
Asked by Talley.
- A:Answer it will fit only if you use the appropriate adapter from Metabones. There might be some limitations with the adapter, such as auto focus or image quality. You might want to consider a lense with a Sony E mount, versus a lense with a Canon mount. Sigma and Tamron offer affordable Sony E mount lenses.

Q: QuestionWhat kind of photography is best supported with this lens? Or Is this lens good for portraits and sports photography?
Asked by Az11.
- A:Answer It’s a prime lens so you are the zoom. For sports you’ll want a telephoto lens + high shutter speed.

Q: QuestionWill this work on a cannon rebel T 6
Asked by Sharge.
- A:Answer if you get the one with the cannon mount, this is a full frame lens, and I don't believe the rebel is. so go with the right format lens, it also might be less.
