I chose to buy this TCL 75QM751G for our family room where we watch lots of movies and the kids play video games. The picture quality is incredible and it is a huge step up in brightness and detail from our old TV. It looks great both day and night regardless of how much light is in the room. It arrived with very durable packaging and the screen well protected. I chose to mount the TV with my existing mount which was super easy. I am very impressed with the speed of the setup and overall performance of Google TV. It loads all our go to apps (YoutubeTV, Netflix, Prime etc...) quickly. The 75" size is awesome compared to our old 65". I feel like I got a ton of features and quality for a great price relative to comparable Samsung, LG, and Sony TVs that I was considering. I was able to get a 75" for the price of those brands 65". Very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend this TV to anyone.

This TV provides amazing value for your dollar, especially when on sale. Take a little bit of time tweaking the picture settings for each dynamic range input (SDR, HDR10, Dolby Vision) and it will look amazing. Weakest point is probably in SDR content but that is expected. Movie mode with some tweaks to motion, clarity, and color looked best IMO. HDR and Dolby Vision look pretty good out of the box but can get better with some minor adjustments. The brightness is unbelievable and can fill a dark room with light. Flashlights and sirens look real with brightness turned up. Black levels are close to OLED but there are some scenes/scenarios that can cause some blooming. The Google TV interface is pretty standard but overall pretty snappy. Build quality is about standard but airing on the side of cheap. Bezels are very clean and minimal and the brushed edges look nice. Center stand is also a huge underrated benefit. Overall, is this TV as good as a LG or Sony OLED? No, but its about 90% there for less than 50% of the price.

I researched multiple brands of TVs for many months knowing that my time was limited on my 10 year old Vizio M70. When the old TV started failing to startup correctly and multiple attempts became the norm and I didn't want to wait until complete failure....so, I went back to my research. A Best Buy employee used the term "high end budget TV" when I was quizzing him about various brands and making some comparisons. I decided to purchase the TCL QM7 over the QM8 because the biggest difference was upgraded internal speakers and tuner/processor in the QM8. I already have SONOS 7.1 setup so I didn't need the speaker upgrade and I wasn't willing to pay the extra $500 just to get the tuner/processor upgrade. Also when compared to my 10 year old Vizio anything I purchased was sure to be an upgrade...and I was right. I first connected my AppleTV and continued to use the new TCL like I used my old Vizio like. a monitor (the Vizio was old enough that it did not support the majority of the streaming apps available today...hence the AppleTV. After a day of viewing pleasure I decided to setup the YouTube app that was available on the TCL to take advantage of the 120MHz refresh rate. I was please with my new TCL before I took the AppleTV out of the viewing equation. What I thought was a decent upgrade was quickly a night/day difference especially when streaming 4k content. Eliminating the inputs is definitely the way to go. Would an $5000 OLED TV be better than what the TCL QM7? Perhaps! but I got this on sale for just under $1000. I am very pleased with my TV and would, and have, recommended to a friend.
