Q: Does this sound bar not turn on automatically when the TV is turned on? I have a TCL 65” 4K TV and my sound bar is hooked up to it via the Optical cable. If I have to hit a button for the sound bar to start working, I’m going to have to return it.

A: I didn't read the directions but it seems like when you connect the optical cable and use your TCL Roku remote it syncs automatically. The only time I use the remote is to toggle between the different sound modes...and then it seems like if you want to use blue tooth you have to use remote. I will add it would be nice if TCL had of done a full size remote with the options to turn subwoofer off....but the sound of the unit fills up my bedroom with music videos from YouTube to regular TV programming. I think you will really enjoy this soundbar.

Awesome soundbar + sub
Sounds really nice , crisp and clear , good bass on the sub , max volume is very loud but never distorts still stays crisp at max , very satisfied with this soundbar , easy to set up , wireless sub but plugs into outlet no wires needed to the soundbar from sub , I give this 5 stars , price is hard to beat and quality is superb , very happy with this purchase , have it hooked up through 3.5 mm jack to my pc , the remote kinda small but it does the job

Extremely Easy Set Up
I am not a particularly tech savvy person. This product was so easy to install and set up, I was amazed. Just follow the instructions, step by step, and in the order that they state and you will not have a problem. Make sure, when it is installed and operational that you go into your TV settings and turn the TV sound speakers off. The sound is great, and shows with difficulty sometimes understanding the talking part of the show, are easier to understanding.

Great Match for TCL TV
Great Sound but remote needs adjustment and not able to adjust. Adjustment of volume on tv does not mute when needed. You have to reduce the volume completely. Overall its a good buy for the price.
