The Panasonic Technics OTTAVA f SC-C70 All-In-One Music System is designed to meet the needs of any audiophile. Three jitter elimination and noise-shaping optimization (JENO) engines, combined with five speakers, deliver powerful hi-fi sound. Acoustic lenses placed in front of the two tweeters provides an expanded sound field. Additionally, the Space Tune preset setting calibrates and optimizes the sound by analyzing the room's acoustic environment.
- Jeno Engine: The SC-C70 is equipped with a trio of JENO audio-processing engines to deliver high-resolution audio without loss. These are used for the subwoofer, mid-range, and tweeter channel management, as well as time alignment.
- Space Tune: Space Tune is a preset EQ setting to optimize sound performance based on the position of the unit in your room. Users with an iOS device and the Technics mobile app can calibrate the system further using the microphone in your iOS device.
- Load Adaptive Phase Calibration: LAPC measures the amp's frequency amplitude phase characteristics with speakers connected to the unit and performs digital signal processing to achieve the ideal impulse response.
- Speaker System: The speaker system consists of three types of speaker units. The high-res dome tweeters feature silk diaphragms that boast a high damping factor and smooth sound characteristics. The mid-range speaker units maintain an appropriate peak level and achieve seamless crossover.
- Acoustic Lens: This system is equipped with custom acoustic lenses featuring a reverse dome-shape fin structure. The back sides of the fins are shaped to match the form of the soft-dome diaphragms of the tweeters and positioned closely to the speaker to provide long sound paths.
- Design: This system features an aluminum top panel that provides a glossy appearance, but also enhances the cabinet rigidity.
- Twin Power Supply Circuit System: This power supply system includes independently installed switch-mode power supply circuitry for the amp and the other circuits, which helps to eliminate mutual interference, reducing degradation of sound quality caused by noise or power supply fluctuations.
- DLNA: You can stream music from an iOS device, Android device, Mac, or Windows PC by using the AirPlay or DLNA feature. To use these features, this system must join the same network as the AirPlay- or DLNA-compatible device.
