    Raymond made what might have been a very stressful situation a really good experience for all of us. He's very knowledgeable but also incredibly patient and respectful when we'd ask a million questions. We all have great confidence in him & hopefully the followup support will be as great as the initial installation & subsequent visit.

    Dustin was great as always. He explained the set up and operation of the new desk top computer I purchased from Best Buy. He performed everything that was needed to have the computer fully functional. There's no doubt that I'll always use The Geek Squad for my computer, televisions and other electronic items. Joshua was also very helpful.

    I brought my computer in to be looked at because I could not bring up windows. At first I was told it was a virus. The technician called shortly after I left and said the hard drive is back. I took the computer home. I had data on there I could not retrieve myself so I took it into a local computer repair shop to see if they could get my data off. Was told there was nothing wrong with the hard drive, Windows was corrupt. Guess Best Buy would rather sell me a new computer that fix the 3 year old computer I bought from them!!!

    Never had a geek squad person that was so conscientious about his work. I will buy again from Best Buy and use the Gerk Squad service because of Mr Roberts. Very professional and complete work!

    Customer Service by the Geek Squad

    Recently I inadvertently deleted almost 900 photos from my camera memory card. I went to the Geek Squad for assistance. The rep I spoke with set an appointment for the next day. When I arrived the next day I was told I needed to bring in my computer in order for them to work on recovering my photos. When I asked why I was told this was to prevent any damage to their equipment should the disk damaged or have a virus. This was not explained when the appointment was made. I was completely taken back by the whole idea. Making matters worse was the manner in which the rep spoke to me as if I should have known this information. His whole approach was very condescending. When my husband asked him to not speak to me in that manner another rep spoke out saying "we're just geeks and we just speak in a matter of fact way" Well Geek or not customer service is about the customer and how they should be treated and not how the rep wants to treat people. I'm very disappointed with this representation of Best Buy. Leaving the store we decided to seek out a local vendor to help solve our issue. We were successful in doing so and have recovered our photos without having to bring in our computer I should add. In the end it will take a lot for us to return to Best Buy going forward. Follow-up to this review by Best Buy is probably the only way this can be soothed over. I will wait to see if that happens.
