These thirteen episodes are some of the best sketch comedy I've ever seen -- on the same level as Kids in the Hall, and in many places even better. This is Ben Stiller before he was famous, and he shows off a side that doesn't come through in his films now. He does superb impressions, from Bruce Springsteen to Bruce Willis. Won an Emmy for Best Comedy Writing and clearly deserved it. The filler material between sketches where Ben Stiller talks to a different guest isn't usually very funny and is clearly just to pad the episode -- the guests don't even appear in any sketches. Still, the actual material is good enough to give it a pass.
