Jim McBride's New Orleans set sexy comedy/mystery The Big Easy comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. The closed-0captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Mono. English, Spanish, and French subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a theatrical trailer. This is a marginal disc from Trimark that could have better sound, but the widescreen presentation is welcome. There is little here for the average DVD consumer, but this will probably be as good as it gets for this film on home video.

||Posted .One of my favorite movies!!! You never know exactly who is on what side, and who can be trusted!!! Great cast!!! Ellen Barkin, smart and sexy, Dennis Quaid, charming and dangerous, a superb supporting cast!!! Great locations and killer music!!!
