A: If your FiOS router is a gateway (modem + router), then the Deco M5 can't fully replace it; however it can be used in together with it in either Access Point Mode, or as your primary router. If you intend to eliminate the FiOS gateway entirely, we recommend contacting FiOS to discuss the possibility of removing your gateway and replacing it with an ONT or direct Ethernet connection.
