Does everything related arming and disarming the alarm system. I keep it in a central location in the house and use it as the "hub" versus using the cell app or PC interface.

Good when it works. VERY short battery life

I like the remote when its working but this has a very short battery life and the fact that its an uncommon battery used. so you can't go to the store and get more as easy as you can get CR123 batterys which is very common for remotes.
