A: Hello Laura, thank you for you question! For this item the doors will slide across the front of the stand. The shelves are each 13" deep, the shelves on the sides are 15" wide and the shelf in the middle is 26" wide. Each shelf is adjustable with an total height of 23". The shelfs usually are at 11" tall leaving 8" on the top shelf. I hope this was helpful.

A: Hi! These are great questions! The middle shelf is 26" wide and 12-5/8" deep. The height of the shelf is 11-1/2", which leaves 8-3/4" above the shelf. And yes, the shelves are adjustable height. Thank you!
