Q: I see this hard drive is designed for gaming, however would it work well for storing photos and or backing up media?

A: Yes, the WD black series is intended for professionals and gamers. It has higher reads/writes than other hard drives. It should do well with photos and media backups.

Q: Can i downlaod ps4 and pc games on this?

A: You would have to choose one or the other. The entire drive has to be formatted, and can only handle one type of file system. Not both at the same time.

Q: Will this work on a Xbox s and save my downloads

A: Yes, absolutely.

Q: Can this be used to download games onto from Online game stores like Steam?

A: Yes, I have all of my steam games on this drive. It’s a very simple process.

Q: Will it work with a Xbox 360 E console?

A: It should, but you'd be better off with a less expensive external drive as the Xbox 360 series of devices do not have USB 3.0 connections and even the slowest of external drives currently available can saturate a USB 2.0 connection.

A: I have it hooked to my PS 5 and have had no problems. I noticed when looking at the requirements, the minimum requirement for Windows is 8.1, so it should work with your PC just fine.
