I have used my work laptop for years and have personal folders in them. Everyone in the house has their own laptop but this time I have to buy one for myself. Back in the day, the 1TB external hard drive that I got weighs like a ton. This 2TB external USB HD weighs lighter than your smart phone and would be easy to travel with. I have transferred over 20 folders of assorted documents in a breeze. This is an amazing tool for everyone. I couldn't imagine how much photos I can upload this is magical box and not worry about anything.

Compatible with PS4
I buyed because I wanted to use it in my PS4 and worked, and obviously, can be compatible with PC... I recommend it
Got this because of the recent End of the year sale on PlayStation vr games. I live in the country with no internet access so I have to travel between family to get access. In short if your like me and need to play games offline and can’t freely switch up your library on the fly this extra storage will really help.
Oh yeah about the connection I have my powered ps4 stand running to my ps4 directly with my vr headset’s usb running to the stand, a usb Stick plugged into the stand and my hdd plugged into the ps4 directly. I know there’s issues surrounding the small amount of USB ports and it all works the vr headset is recognized, usb plays music all while I game and the hdd is recognized by the ps4.
Used this for transferring/backing up my previous HP laptop prior to an SSD upgrade. Works great if you don’t have a whole lot to back up. It’ll hold for now until I get a MyCloud drive. This will probably be turned over to my son for additional PS4 storage. Until then, it’s used as a periodic PC system back up.
I needed more storage on my PlayStation 4. This was the best solution that I found. A simple plug into the USB port and quick format was all that was needed. It’s running strong and doing what it’s meant to do.
I got this 2tb ext. Hard drive for 80$. It is a great product . I haven't had a chance to use it heavily yet, but I plugged it in to my laptop and it's easily recognized and it works. I would recommend it to others.
A:AnswerI bought this for my Xbox One S, it will work well for your Xbox One. Just plug it in to the USB in the back of your console, set it up as storage and you can download a lot more games. You can utilize this to expand your Xbox one storage beyond the basic 500GB.
A:AnswerThe easystore line is a BestBuy only hard drive with missing features (you cannot set a password or encrypt the drive) and a reduced warranty when compared to the WD MyPassport line. Otherwise it's a WD manufactured hard drive that offers great transfer speeds. Because the easystore has fewer features, it is generally cheaper. In this case, because the MyPassport drive is cheaper, I'd recommend that drive over the easystore.

A:AnswerTransfer rates: USB 2.0 offers transfer rates of 480 Mbps, and USB 3.0 offers transfer rates of 4.8 Gbps — 10 times faster.
Addition of another physical bus: The amount of wires was doubled, from 4 to 8. Additional wires required more space in both the cables and connectors, so new types of connectors were designed.
Power consumption: USB 2.0 provides up to 500 mA whereas USB 3.0 provides up to 900 mA. The USB 3 devices provide more power when needed and conserve power when the device is connected but idling.
More bandwidth: Instead of one-way communication, USB 3.0 uses two unidirectional data paths, one to receive data and the other to transmit while USB 2.0 can only handle only one direction of data at any time.
Improved bus utilization: A new feature was added (using packets NRDY and ERDY) to let a device asynchronously notify the host of its readiness.
