Q: Will this work with a Playstation 4? PS4?
A: Yes, it is PlayStation 4 compatible.
Q: Will this work on xbox one?
A: Yes, they work great! Go online at Best Buy, spend a few dollars more ($115.99) and get the WD 4TB. Only buy the best, Western Digital. They make the best hard drives! I have these on XBOX ONE, XBOX ONE S, computers, TV's, DirecTV Genie and Genie Mini's. Plug it into your XBOX ONE, choose format for games. Tell it to store games there and all of your new games will be installed there.
A: That is what I used mine for. All of my photos from 1937 to the present are stored in folders on my new WD Passport. That way I am able to take the Passport with me when I leave home for any length of time and know that they all are safe. Also can take it with me if I want to show some to friends or relatives. I really love it.
Q: Will this 3.0 USB work on an old window 7 Professional Computer for backup with 2.0 USB connections.
A: Yes, this will work on an old Windows 7 computer.
Q: Will my brother be able to download videos from his GO PRO?
A: No, your brother has to download videos to a computer and then transfer it to this external hard drive.
Q: Can you use 1 on both Xbox one an PlayStation 4 or is it one for Xbox an one for PlayStation
A: Your better off getting one for each. Some of the support files needed to run the games need to be accessible from the same directory. If you try a splitter for the USB, just not sure if it might have similar file names for each game and that could cause an error when accessing the games of two systems intermixed in one drive location.
Q: is there an external hard drive that will backup my operating system along with my files
A: Yes, as long as the external drive is at least as large as your internal drive you can back up everything
Q: Does it works for MacBook Air?
A: undefined
