A: Yes they work in Synology NAS models. The literature, or documentation, recommends WD Reds. I have the DS1515+ model. I bought these HDDs back in 2015 and are still running today (24x7)! I maxed the DS1515+ out with 5 - 6TB WD Reds.

Q: Would these work with a Synology DS415+?
A: To answer my own question, yes.
A: No. The sticker says WD Reds. These HDDs are rated to spin slower at 5400 rpm vs the 7200 rpm. They were designed for 24x7 operations where it's more energy efficient and quieter.
