Q: Where can I find the charcoal filters for this range hood?
A: This was our only complaint about this item; the filter was not included and was not easy to locate from a local retailer. We ended up going to Lowe's and buying a filter and cutting it to fit this hood. This hood is advertised as a ventless hood and as such, I believe the filter should have been included.
Q: Does this plug in or must it be hardwired
A: It must be hard wired.
Q: What is the sound level of this unit in sones at high speed? 0.5 decibels seems incorrect.

A: Hi! This unit is not a ductless unit. It will accommodate either a rectangular or circular duct, however, this unit can also be installed as a recirculating vent. If, you chose to use the recirculating vent install you will need the Charcoal Filter Kit, That part number is W10905734.
