Q: Does this whirlpool 5.9 electric dryer have a flat back?
A: Yes. I had to choose this dryer because of the limited space I had. In the end, I was very happy overall with the purchase.
Q: Is this dryer 120 or 240 volts
A: Hello Cassidy, this model is 240 volts.
Q: I broke the dial on my dryer
A: Hello! We are terribly sorry to hear about your concern. We would recommend contacting Whirlpool® at 800-253-1301. We are available M -F 8 am to 6 pm est. They will be better able to assist you.
Q: Can the door be switched to open on the other side?
A: Hello Jody, Yes. This model does have a reversible door. Please refer to the owners manual on how to switch the door swing direction. We hope this info helps.
Q: Is this considered a long vent dryer. If so why isn't it in the description?
A: Have no idea what a long vent drier is. The vent tubing and attachment ring needs space between the wall and the drier. The vent on the drier is located in the back and the bottom of the Electric Drier. The delivery people from Best Buy did the installation. Very happy with the installation people.
A: You can turn the cycle knob to off. (It is the same knob you press to start the drying cycle. You may still get one buzz when the clothes are dry.
