Two built-in sensors measure moisture and temperature levels to help prevent overdrying and automatically stop the cycle when the load is dry. Easily transfer loads from the washer to the dryer and from the dryer to the laundry basket without worrying about clean clothes falling on the floor with this wide-opening door. Let the dryer guide you to the right cycle combinations or customize your own to get the right type of fabric care for whatever you're drying. Eliminate common household bacteria for optimal fabric care. Keep an eye on how much time is left during any cycle and easily see your selected cycles, options and available choices with the illuminated digital console. You'll always know when your drying cycle is finished, thanks to the end-of-cycle signal. This helpful tone reminds you when it's time to get clean clothes from the dryer. You can also turn it off completely. See every item in the dryer with the interior light.
A: Same problem here. Ours started having issues a month after we got it. Sometimes it would heat up and sometimes it wouldn’t. Till last week it wouldn’t heat up at all. Service guy just left and we will now be waiting 2 months for a part on a dryer that we bought 10 months ago. Our old dryer was 26 years old, wishing we never decided to upgrade.
A: Hello EWills! We are providing a link to the Use and Care Guide this will advise what is included for the proper installation of this model. https://bit.ly/2NnuiuP
A: More than likely, you did not close the dryer lid all the way. Make sure it clicks when you close the door, and you should be good to go.
Q: what is size of gas dryer door?
A: Probably about 2 feet wide by 18 inches tall.
Q: Please explain what is good for 26 cycle of this dryer ??
A: undefined
A: Although I appreciate the response, I believe the information provided is for the electric dryer rather than the "Gas" version. Most gs dryers only require a standard 60 Hz AC connection rated at 15 to 20 amperes rather than the 30 ampere connection that you have documented. The Whirlpool website also states that this model only requires a 60 Hz, 120 Vac, 15-20 ampere connection, but the actual receptacle type is ambiguous and not documented well by Whirlpool. Best Buy also states that purchasing a power cord is required, but the Whirlpool website states that the power cord is supplied with the gas model. I guess I will need to find one in the store to see what type of power cord is supplied and if I can use this product.
Q: is this dryer LP convertable? we use propane for our home.
A: tara, This dryer is equipped for use with Natural gas. It is design-certified by CSA International for LP (propane or butane) gases with appropriate conversion. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Whirlpool appliances!
