Q: how do you activate Dish if you do not already have an account and want the pay as you go option

A: If you have programming service with Dish, you add $7 dollars for the extra receiver added to your bill. Your programming that you pay for will be the same as at home. I called Dish to verify. If you do not have service, they have a "Pay as you go" plans that are month to month. Go to the Dish page for programming fees.

Q: Do I need to pay for cable

A: No. This unit is a portable satellite dish and receiver, generally used for rv's or camping. You will need a Dish.com account, either adding an additional receiver to a current account or creating a new account.

Q: If I have dish tv in my home and it’s 90.00 a month what will my monthly bill be if I add a playmaker to use in my camper including tv programming in the camper when in use

Q: Can this unit be mounted on top of a class A RV?

Q: Can it be used further away than 25 ft my deer camp has a lot of trees may need to set it out 75 ft from my camper.

A: I don't see why not, it comes with a 35ft that runs from the box to the dome unit. Unless there is some signal loss due to the longer length of the cable.

Q: Can this satellite antenna be used with a direct tv box?

A: I don't think so. I'm pretty sure it has to have a DISH receiver.

Q: Can it be installed on a marine application where there is slight rocking and rolling with waves or it will lose signal?

A: We installed the Playmaker on top of our houseboat. We had no problem with rocking at the dock. It was very easy to operate too.
