A: I cannot say with absolute certainty that this will work with the Rocketfish wireless kit, only because I am not running the sub this way. But the Rocketfish kit should work with this sub without issue. The Rocketfish kit will work with any sub that has an LFE input, which is the only input this Yamaha subwoofer has.
Q: Is this unit compatible with the Yamaha ysp-1400 and if is how do you connect them
A: Yes, this sub will work with the YSP-1400. To connect them you need a subwoofer cable that is connected from the "subwoofer out" jack on the back of the soundbar and the other end of the cable is connected to the only input on the backside of the sub. When you see the cable and the connections it becomes pretty self-explanatory.
