These is a good keyboard and I do not really have any problems with it. I do think the key could be a little more sensitive and the keyboard does not come with a power adapter which is a big problem. I like all of the different features and sounds that are on it. It is a good price compared to other board and which what all you get. I would recommend this keyboard for someone who is looking for something to mess around on.

The keyboard has good sound quality and easy enough to use for a beginner. The directions in the manual are easy to follow. The only major downside is that you have to buy the adapter separately. I was a little disappointed that this product isn't available in all the stores in my area so I had to make a field trip to pick it up.

I'm a novice learning to play the piano so I picked this up after much research. This is great for a beginner like me, but I'm sure if you are fluent in piano playing this won't suit you since the keys are nothing like a piano's. I know Yamaha has a great reputation regarding sound quality (isn't that what music is about) so of course I was happy regarding the sound. Only drawback is of course you have to buy an adapter (and stand if you wish). The MIDI cable to connect to your computer (which I haven't done yet, but hear it's compatible with Mac's - another plus for me) is not included either. Also, the digital screen is tiny and has no backlight and in order to use headphones you need a converter for that as well. All in all, this is a great keyboard to play around with - fun!

Good Keyboard for beginners

I bought this keyboard about two - three weeks ago and I really like it. I'm teaching myself to play and read music on it and so far it's working great. The learning system on it is pretty cool, I've taught myself half of pachabells cannon on it and that's with only practicing one or two times a week. It doesn't come with an adapter which is a pain because the adapter itself was 11 dollars. I was happy when I saw that it had a headphone jack (in a house of four it'd be nice to plug in some headphones to either blockout other noise or practice after everyone is in bed) but it's not a normal headphone jack and I haven't gotten around to buying a converter or whatever it is I need. All in all it's a good product especially for a beginner. If you have the money go with a better one but for the price it's really good.

I was looking for something to record on my computer software. It sounds really great and has so many different sounds/voices. My grandson especially liked the gunshots and fireworks. The strings section is absolutely beautiful. I know the keys don't compare to a full key/expensive/weighted one, but since I'm not an accomplished player I can't tell the difference and couldn't play all the keys on a full keyboard anyway. I'm really a guitar player and am used to transposing chords with a capo, so when I found it had this I was really excited. I didn't see it in the ad.

I have been playing the piano for eight years, and I recently bought this keyboard. It was a lot of fun playing with the sound effects and the sound quality is pretty good. However, if you're a more advanced player, I suggest getting a keyboard with touch-sensitive keys to get the volume control you need for many songs.
Other than that, and that it didn't come with an adapter (sold seperately), I love this keyboard.

The sound quality of this keyboad is great. I had someone go with me to make sure I was purchasing a good product for my buck. To test the product he played a song on this keyboard and a Casio Model LK220AD. And it was a huge different between the two at the same settings. There is one other downfall and it does not come with a power adapter. Per the box it says to purchase a PA-3B and PA-3C. NOTE: The store had the keyboard powered with a Yamaha PA-150 Power Adapter so I purchased the same and it works great.

Great piano/keyboard for first-timers. I use this keyboard for playing music as well as playing plug-in instruments on my computer. If you are into playing around with music programs on your computer or learning how to play the piano then this is the keyboard for you. If you are a professional artist I would go for another one. All in all though, this is definitely a recommendable keyboard for its value.
