7th UAV now and WOW
My background FYI... Started flying lessons (airplanes) when I was 12 with my father. A few years later, my dad was building remote controlled airplanes so I got hooked early. Fast forward to 2019, my incredible wife surprises me with a Yuneec Mantis G (which makes it UAV 7 now) and this one is my new absolute favorite. It’s easy to travel with on trips, unlike my other UAVs and handles wind very well. I like the duration I’m able to get on one battery charge, which slightly exceeds my other “fat” UAVs. The video quality is stunning, the follow me function works flawlessly. At this price-point, you just can’t go wrong but if you are a first-time UAV pilot, I’d recommend you first watch a few videos made by other folks who have posted “Mantis G” videos. I haven’t uploaded a video yet, but the people who have made videos for the Mantis G have some excellent tips. Also, get a few good apps on your smartphone (I like “UAV Forecast” and make sure you also download the FAA app “B4Ufly.” The Mantis G makes a good “entry level” UAV, but in many ways, it performs like my larger UAVs. The “big advantage” though is it’s diminutive size. It travels well, is easy to stow away, easy to fly and quite a bargain at this price.

Amazing drone
This drone works so well! The picture quality is so clear and the sport mode is so quick. I have an iPhone and the Mantis G is mainly for Apple users because they support Apple IOS fully. If you’re using Android 5-9 then it will work fine. But I’ve tried using it on a phone with Android 10 and the drone still works and takes pictures/videos but the phone screen will be black and there is no visual. If anyone experiences this, there’s nothing wrong with your phone. It’s just how the Yuneec app supports different mobile software.

I love fling this drone its response time is great
I would defenetly recomend this drone you won't find a better one for the price.
