A: Yes you can change the colors of the backlight on the keyboard. You can customize them, and have only 2 colors or 1 color or any combo.
A: The RAM modules are upgradeable (comes with two 16GB SODIMMs for a total of 32GB at 2666MHz) but the documentation doesn't list a maximum. The SSD interface is NVMe 1.3 and has two slots one of which is occupied with a stick of M.2 SX8200 Pro 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD. The other slot is empty.
