A: Not as intended.
A: Yes run them parallel to achieve a 2 ohm load. I ran mine at 4 ohms they still sound great. The amp I’m using is Kicker 1200.1 amp 1200w at 2 & 1 ohm 600w @ 4 ohms

Fit perfectly in my 2019 ram 1500 crew cab
This Alpine subwoofer box with dual 8 inch subwoofers fits perfectly under my backseat. I love that it has a built-in amp rack.
