Q: What kind of switches does this keyboard use?

A: The Drop CSTM80 keyboard uses Gateron Yellow KS3 switches.

Q: Does this keyboard have N-key rollover?

A: Yes, the keyboard features N-key rollover, ensuring every keystroke is registered.

Q: Does this keyboard have a number pad?

A: No, the Drop CSTM80 has a tenkeyless layout, meaning it does not have a number pad.

Q: What is the maximum number of memory profiles this keyboard supports?

A: The keyboard can store up to 5 memory profiles.

Q: What type of connection does this keyboard have?

A: This is a wired keyboard that connects via USB-C.

Q: How many keys on this keyboard are programmable?

A: All 88 keys on the CSTM80 keyboard are programmable.

Q: With the way that the RBG is on this board (facing the front of the factory keycaps) would I be able to put normal shine through keycaps on and it will be vibrant?

A: I actually tried this out with some old keycaps that I have. With the LEDs below (facing the front) they do not illuminate the back side of the keycaps. So depending on where the shine through is, the position of the LEDs might matter. I don’t know if one orientation is considered more “normal” than another, since I’ve seen both keyboards and keycaps designed for front-facing LEDs or LEDs behind the switches. But definitely look for keycaps that are designed to work with LEDs in front of the switches.

    Great keyboard!

The keys are quiet and it's two toned. The keys light up and its shorter than other keyboards. Great for gaming. We love the look.

Switched from a Corsair k65 plus wireless

Seen these online for awhile and then they finally started selling them at Best Buy. I walked by this keyboard each time during 3 different visits staring at it. Didn’t need a keyboard as I fell in love with the Corsair K65 plus wireless. But I picked it up anyway and do not regret it. The weight of this keyboard is perfect. The switches are cushion poppy that just sound perfect imo. The only reason why I gave it 4/5 stars is because I think the coiled cable should come with the keyboard, not a separate purchased item. But overall love the sound, the weight, response, customization. Perfect.

Great Customization and entry level board

[Employee of bestbuy] Such a good typing experience on this board. Stabilizers feel amazing and the keys themselves feel great. Amazing sound I would recommend checking out BadSeedTech's review on YouTube if you want a good breakdown of the board. Overall well worth the money! Would be great if it came with PBT keycaps or a SKU that came with PBT keycaps the ABS ones feel a little slippery on my copy.
