Q: does it have 120hz IPS + Gsync panel screen
A: Yes it does. The screen is very bright compared to other laptops on the market.
A: I just opened mine and it has a separate slot for a SSD M.2 slot right above the HDD.
A: This model contains only the GTX 1060 6GB version which has more RAM than the regular 1060. The one with the Max-Q 1060 is only for the 15 inch version which I have yet to see on sale. Even on HP's own website, they don't have that one listed.
Q: Why does the pictures show a DVD/cd drive but then description states otherwise?
A: This PC does not have a DVD drive.

A: This is a brand new laptop.
Q: This verision or the rx 580? better performance?
A: They both offer similar performance. On some games, the GTX 1060 6Gb performs better while on other games the RX 580 performs better. It seems the biggest thing will be that some programs tend to work best on the Nvidia platform instead of AMD's.
