Q: how long is the cord

A: The cord is between 9.5" - 10.0" long, end to end.

Q: Does this splitter also allow two people to talk? In other words, does it work with headphones that have built-in microphones? Trying to get the grandparents wired up for zoom meetings!

A: No, this will not work with the microphone of a headset since the picture shows it to be a 3 post contact (metallic part sticking out of the cable) only. The 3 posts are for ground and 2 audio outs for stereophonic sound. For a cable to work with a headset + microphone combination, you need a 4 post (TRRS) contact; THE 4 posts are for ground, audio out 1, audio out 2 and microphone in.

Q: Does this split into two stereo outputs or two mono outputs?

A: Counting the stripes on the male end DOES NOT mean the female ends have stereo output. Check the packaging and make sure both input & output are TSR. Some male ends have stereo (TSR) that split into 2 mono (TS) female ends. TSR = stereo, TS = mono.

Q: how long is this cable

A: About a foot
