A: Hi sherbs. This device works as any normal USB HUB, it's just a hardware extension for the ports already on the back of the unit. As far as I know, if you have a wireless keyboard that includes it's own USB dongle, it should have no problems working with an Xbox One S. Charles V. - Insignia Support

A: Yes it will
Q: Does this have the cooling fans in it?
A: Nope - sorry, no fans; designed to work passively drawing air thru.
A: The one x came with a stand when it first released. If it's the same kind(can't see a pic), you should be ok. The One X is water cooled and doesn't run very hot. I think in the year I've had it I may have heard the fan kick in 3 or 4 times, and it wasn't for a long period either. To be safe though, I would contact MS and ask them what they recommend.
Q: Will I be able to use a mouse and keyboard on my Xbox one if I use this
A: I'm able to do that using this with my Surface Go so I'm sure it will fit the Xbox

A: While you could connect a keyboard to your Xbox for typing messages, an adapter is needed to actually play with keyboard and mouse
