Q: 2 Questions: What is the usable interior height? Is the oven insulated?
A: Hi KenS, The countertop oven measures 16.4 deep, 13 inches tall and 18 1/2 inches wide allowing use of a 9x13 baking pan. The oven is insulated however it will be warm to the touch.
Q: Does this have a chemical free non stick coating? And what is the coating made of etc.
A: Hi Jode, The interior is PTFE free and PFOA free.
Q: What kind of metal and glass pans can be used in this toaster oven for casseroles, pies, etc.
A: The convection oven will accommodate all glass and metal baking pans, casseroles and pie pans.
Q: What size baking pan can you use?
A: You mean besides the one that comes with it? Biggest is a 9"x13", go from there. (i.e. 9x9, etc.)
Q: Does this oven have a prop 65 warning on it?
A: Proposition 65 was enacted in 1986 in the State of California. It requires an updated list once a year of potentially harmful materials. Whirlpool/KitchenAid meets or exceeds all standards for safe materials, but our products do have cords, which causes them to make the list. Any time you have a cord, there is the potential for it to come in contact with something hazardous.
Q: How much clearance space is needed around this unit? Is the exterior to hot to touch during use?
A: Hi Justasking, KitchenAid recommends 4 inches of space around the exterior of the unit. The exterior is warm to the touch.
