Q: is this comes with 5 speakers and subwoofer ?
A: Hello. Thank you for your question and we hope all is well. This is for a pair of Motion AFX speakers. The Motion AFX is designed to sit on top of floorstanding and bookshelf speakers in MartinLogan’s Motion series. These models include the Motion 15, 20, 35XT, 40 and 60XT. Designed to reflect sound off of the ceiling in a Dolby Atmos entertainment system, The AFX will also work with other brands of speakers with a flat top. Q: If you can put in ceiling speakers, would you go that route, or buy these AFX's?
A: If in-ceiling speakers are an option, that's a great way to go! These speakers are complimentary of systems or rooms that can't accommodate in-ceiling speakers, or if you simply don't want to install in-ceiling speakers. These will fit perfectly on the Motion series towers and bookshelf speakers to add Atmos into your system!
A: You will want two additional channels of amplification for these to work. This can be through a 9-channel receiver, or the addition of a stereo amplifier to your 7.1 receiver. The 7.1 receiver will require pre-outs for the Dolby Atmos channels.
Q: Can these be placed on a cabinet at 4 foot with a 10 foot ceiling?
