Awesome TV and excellent Best Buy customer service
This was my first OLED and I am very impressed; plus the screen size is perfect for our new home theater. This was definitely the "icing on the cake" for finishing up the home theater project/remodel. Best Buy was great to work with. I originally had a different kind of TV arrive and it was broken in the box, and Best Buy was awesome to work with on getting it sorted out. I ended up returning the broken TV and exchanged it for this one instead, and I am very happy. I'm impressed with the Best Buy staff on how they helped answer my questions and helped me with getting the other tv returned. Back to the TV review, this TV is very clear/sharp, has very black contrast and with the picture being so realistic while watching movies, it's almost like you can reach out and touch the object that you're watching; it's truly an amazing TV. We've been a fan of Samsung TVs for many years, in fact we have one Samsung TV that is 11 years old and still works, so we know we made the right decision to go with Samsung. I'm running my sound through a receiver for home surround sound, but while I was testing everything I just temporarily used the built-in speakers that come with the TV, and I'm very impressed with how good it sounds given how thin this TV is. Thank you again Best Buy, your customer service made this a very pleasant experience.

excellent picture quality
I’ve had the Samsung S84D Series 77-inch OLED TV set up in my living room for a while now, and I can honestly say it’s the best screen I’ve ever owned. Right out of the box, the picture quality blew me away. The OLED panel produces these incredibly deep blacks—movies look so lifelike, it’s kind of surreal! Colors pop off the screen, and thanks to the 4K resolution, everything is crisp whether I’m watching a blockbuster or just streaming YouTube. The Tizen operating system is a breeze to use. Switching between Netflix, Disney+, and the other built-in apps feels smooth and intuitive—plus, the voice assistant is actually helpful for finding content or controlling other smart devices around the house. If you’re into gaming like I am, this TV is a treat. It supports HDMI 2.1, variable refresh rate, and all that next-gen stuff, so playing on my PlayStation 5 feels unbelievably smooth. No lag, no motion blur, just pure immersive gameplay. That said, if you're all about HDR gaming, sometimes the brightness dips in really intense scenes, but it’s a minor thing unless you’re super picky. One thing I wish was better: the speakers. They’re okay for casual watching, but if you want a full-on cinematic experience, definitely add a soundbar or surround system. Also, this TV is heavy—don’t try lifting it alone! You'll want at least two people for setup. The overall design is stunning. It’s so thin and sleek, and it looks fantastic mounted on the wall. Even though it’s on the pricey side, I got mine during a sale and honestly, I think it’s worth every penny. The quality is top-notch, and it’s made my home theater setup feel complete.
