Big, colorful monitor at a good price
I bought this monitor during Best Buy's big mid-July sale. It's priced well. At 32 inches, it's plenty big, allowing smaller font sizes and objects to be seen very easily. Color is pretty good, I think, although I'm not using it for anything that needs precise color reproduction. The good: --The monitor is large so there's plenty of space for at least two open files of sharp, crisp text or images, making them easy to read/see. -The colors are awesome, at least to me. --I have the monitor plugged into a four-port HDMI adapter with three other monitors (all 27 inches in size), with all four set at 1920 by 1080 at 60mhz. Everything works (so far. Knock on wood!). --The monitor is very attractive and lightweight. The bezels at the top and sides are very thin and the bottom bezel is much thinner than on my other monitors. The monitor itself is thin and lightweight, also. --It accepts a VESA mount on the lower back. Holes are 100mm apart. I have mine at the top of a two-monitor vertical mount. --Once you get the monitor set up you probably won't have to make any changes. I got the blue light filter turned on to 100 percent and brightness and contrast set to the same percents as my other monitors. It comes with several modes including gaming modes, text, and others so a lot of the work could be taken care of. But see below for the fun of setting up the monitor. Here's why I gave it 3 stars: -The screen isn't matte and reflects light. I didn't realize it reflected room and window light from behind me till I saw my reflection in a photo. In online sales photos on Best Buy and elsewhere, the screen appears to have a matte finish. --Controls to adjust the monitor's settings are challenging, to be nice about it. There's a row of 6 buttons on the lower right side of the back of the monitor, about an inch from the right edge. So, you're facing the front and using your sense of touch to try to follow inadequate and confusing instructions in the user manual that you have to download from the ViewSonic website. If you use a Windows 10 computer, drivers are there for it too. The monitor works fine on my MacBook Air M3 without a downloadable driver. Since I was already used to the other monitors' similar hidden control buttons and goofy instructions, the ViewSonic's hidden buttons and goofy instructions were not much of an obstacle. --The receptacle for the power plug and ports for the computer cables are placed very low. That could be a problem for neat cable organization. --For the life of me, I'm unable to get the speakers to work. They're not showing up in the laptop's Sounds settings, but according to the monitor's On-Screen Display they're connected to the laptop and ready to use. So who knows what's going on there? But I have the laptop's speakers as well as a pair of external speakers so I don't really need the monitor's speakers. --For the VESA mount, I needed two longer screws and two shorter screws! I used the rubber washers that came with the monitor plus left-over screws and washers I already had from a VESA mount I had purchased for my other monitors. The mounting holes on the monitor's back were of different depths. Who knows what's going on with that? --It sometimes turns on when I log into the laptop and other times I have to manually turn it on. It's more of an inconvenience than a bother. So, overall, if you would like or just need a big monitor at a good price, this is the one. Just plug it in and you're good to go, kind of. If you can get it set up the way you want, then it's even better. I'd not mind having more of them. (In the photo, the ViewSonic monitor being reviewed is at the top of the stand.)

Great picture, quality, and colors real value!
I bought a Samsung monitor and within 2 hours I took it back to buy the monitor that I should have purchased. The ViewSonic monitors are by far the best monitors that I have purchased, and I have bought a lot of different monitors. This monitor has awesome response times, colors, and clarity. It is super easy to install and operate. The controls on the monitor are great and easy to use, they make changing the setting easy and very straight forward which is so much better than the control on the Samsung monitors I tried. If you want quality and a great buy for your money, then look no further than ViewSonic monitors -- all their monitors that I have owned have lasted for years and the picture quality never changes. The only thing that I have changed is the size of the monitors as I have gotten older and needed to work on more documents simultaneously.
