Setting aside the bad service and customer response time of Best Buy, this product is actually pretty good. It is effective and easy to install. If your door has a standard hole for a deadlock vault, then u can install it yourself. Very efficient and effective, and the app control on the phone is user-friendly from activating it to setting up lock codes, and the best is that you can monitor who's entering your house by assigning individual codes for everyone who has access.

I run a smarthome that is running via HomeKit. I have had some other brand locks that work with HomeKit, but these by far have been the easiest to set up and install. My wife needed a keypad, so this lock serves that purpose and allows me remote functionality to lock/unlock from anywhere I have service. Highlight reccomended

We recently bought three Yale Smart Locks for our home and couldn’t be happier. They have such a clean, modern look that blends right in with our doors, and the build quality feels really solid. Setup was straightforward, and I love that they pair with our Apple TV, making them fully compatible with Apple HomeKit. It’s so convenient being able to lock and unlock from my phone or just ask Siri. The auto-lock feature gives us peace of mind, especially when we’re rushing out the door, and sharing digital keys with family was super easy. We also like that we can automate them to lock at a certain time, so our house is secure at night and it’s cool that they unlock for us on approach after we return home. Overall, it’s been a great upgrade—stylish, reliable, and super convenient. Definitely worth it!

Have a prevous generation of this lock and even though this one only has bluetooth, it still works great with my Apple Home may upgrade and add a smart module kn ghe future to add wifi, but so far the expense to add the isnt needed. The door sense feature is also great to have and comes with the lock as we have a metal door frame, it would magnetize to the frame but worried about it getting knocked off and losing that piece, it’s really “nice to have” but not needed. Save yourself some money and just buy this bluetoog version over the wifi model.
