One of Jay-Z best albums
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're into Jay-Z music this the album to buy. In this album you get a mature Jay Z teaching the youth about his own mistakes and how to better themselves. This is a must buy

The Jigga Man Shines
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm happy to say I grew up with Jay's music since I was 16 in 1996 when "Reasonable Doubt" was released and I liked it but "In My Lifetime Vol. 1" was the album that made me cement my love for Jay and I bought everything from that point. 4:44 IS A MASTERPIECE. JAY-Z WENT DEEP LYRICALLY. HE POURED OUT HIS HEART. HE POURED OUT HIS TRUE FEELINGS. HE HELD BACK NOTHING. JUST A PURE MATURE ALBUM. NO I.D. AND HIS CLASSIC 1990'S SAMPLING STYLE AND PRODUCTION MADE THIS ALBUM. I'M SO GLAD HE WAS THE MAIN PRODUCER ON THIS. JAY & NO I.D. MADE A ALBUM FOR THE AGES AND IT WILL BE REMEMBERED AS A CLASSIC FOR THE REST OF MY LIFETIM

Best Jay-Z album I've heard in a long time.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is probably his best work since Blueprint 3. Even better than Watch the Throne. Waayyyyyyyyyy better than Magna Carta. You can tell this time that he didn't do these songs just to appease to the crowd of this generation. He did it as a way of therapy. It's only 10 songs so it really isn't room for filler and Jay fills every minute with dope rhymes over that smooth & jazzy No I.D. production. I wanna see what he does with the tour this year. Great release for 2017. Jay obviously still has it and probably will NEVER lose it! All of his solo albums are platinum and you can tell why this one is. Also free 6 month subscription for Tidal added when you buy the CD version. And 3 new songs. Blue Ivy spits hot fire on one of them lol!!!

Deepest, Most Human and Personal Rap Album Ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a fan of Jay-Z's since the mid 90's I am biased, however I am a Hip Hop/Rap fan before I am a Jay-Z. With this album, 4:44, Jay-Z gives his listeners the truest glimpse into the current state of his life, family and his feelings of the current state of our country. There is a level of genius and maturity that is unmatched by any lyricist currently living. The best rapper alive giving us the worst and best parts of his life, like he has never done before. This album is on an entirely different level, everything else in the music industry is subpar in comparison. Instant classic.

Probably His Most Introspective
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This album is a solid track-to-track playthrough with no skippables. I would highly recommend to anyone that isnt even a Jay-Z fan to hear about being positive and business minded. Marcy Me is probably the best track he has put out in a decade. The production was exceptional. The bonus tracks are not necessary and do not add to the experience. This is one of the top 3 albums released in 2017 but in his catalog it is in his top 5 with Reasonable Doubt, Blueprint, and Black Album.

A Return to Form For Jay-Z!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm one of the few people who still buys CD's, but not just for anyone or anything. It's only if it's an artist I love and/or an album I truly love. I own every single one of Jay-Z's albums as physical CD's, so when I first streamed '4:44' the night it dropped, I almost immediately knew I had to buy the physical copy. I was not let down. The album is amazing and the CD comes with THREE additional bonus tracks that aren't on the digital version. Well worth the purchase. Welcome back, Jay-Z!

A must have from Jay-Z
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.4:44 is the most vulnerable album Jay Z has ever released. This is his response to his wife Beyonce's critically acclaimed album "Lemonade". With powerful songs such as "The story of O.J.", "Kill Jay -Z" , and my favorite that I keep on repeat "4:44" this album brings a perspective to hip hop that has never been seen or heard before. If you are a fan of Jay Z this album is for you to see how much he has evolved in the 4 years since we last heard from him on the Manga Carter album.
