Fill out your home theater setup with these in-ceiling speakers that blast up to 100 watts of clear, rich sound.
Q: what hardware is required for mounting the 61/2" NS-C6500 ceiling speakers
A: You need a knife to cut the ceiling tile (on a drop ceiling). Drywall would probably require a little saw. You'll need a screw driver to tighten the brackets (phillips). You might want a wire stripper. You might need a drill depending on what holes you need for your wires. You will also need speaker wire.
A: I use a dental pick. Dentck makes one that you can get at any phamarcy that works perfectly. Insert the pick thru the mesh speaker cover and gently pull towards you and the cover will come off.
Q: I need the template cutout for the NS-C6500 Ceiling speakers
A: The cut-out template for the NS-C6500 is not a part available for order. The diameter of the cutout is 7.68" (195mm).
Q: what is meant by the term two-way speaker?
A: undefined
A: Do not remove the cloth. It dampens the sound and reduces the speaker shadow showing through the grill.
Q: Are these "stereo input" speakers?
A: These are installed to a jukebox (200 watts) which has two pair of your typical speaker wires. I guess the key thing is making sure you fall into the power recommendations for the speakers.
Q: Can these be wall-mounted? Also, are they paintable?
A: Yes but your wall would have to be thicker than a standard 2x4 wall...2x6 would probably work but since mine are already installed I can't measure the exact depth. The covers are paintable.
