Using the soundbar alone, you’ll experience authentic 3.1 channel surround sound with S-Force PRO Front Surround and Vertical Surround Engine. The soundbar is specifically designed to direct sound towards the listener, and positioning it above the TV could interfere with this intended sound projection, leading to a less immersive audio experience. For the best performance, we recommend following the standard practice of mounting the soundbar below the TV. Additional information: The HT-A3000 immerses you in authentic surround sound with a center speaker for clear dialogue and a built-in dual subwoofer for impressive power. A great device, great sound, great value
Sound is great. I have it paired with a Sony Bravia X90L TV plus their wireless subwoofer (SA-SW5) and the wireless rear speakers (SA-RS5) which takes everything to another level. I like the acoustic center sync option which lets you use your TV as an additional cener chanel. I got an open box version which looked brand new. I upgraded from the HT-S2000 and i’m not disappointed. It all works flawlessly, is controllable from the TV menus, sounds great, and looks great. Unless you need something bigger for your space (mine is all in my bedroom) then I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I gave it 4 stars because sometimes after startup it takes a while to connect to the TV. I’ve found it I turn it on first THEN the TV, it’s much less tempramental.

Great Setup and Easy Use
Set up and use are very easy. Bought it for my new Sony 85” TV. Sound is great and pairs with tv easy. Will buy cordless speakers for complete setup. Price was great and reviews I read were spot on.

Great product for the money
I have been waiting to review this sound bar. I bought this product three months ago and I have been very satisfied with how it works. How it handles sound how it handles base. For the price this is a great sound bar obviously there’s better sound bars like the Sony theater sound bars those are premium the top of the line but the Sony HGA 3000 is a great sound bar for the price I bought it with my Sony Bravia, ATV and I have the sound bar paired up with my sub and my two rear speakers and it brings movie theater to the home
