Setup was good, with only one issue to work thru. Speed is great and after about 3 weeks the connection has been reliable. The parental controls is where this is really lacking. By the sounds of the features, you will have advanced controls and clear insight into traffic. In reality, you can only filter very broad categories. Wifi hours / bedtime setting has not been reliable. WiFi is supposed to shut off for kids at 8 pm and recently found my son online at 10 pm. Parental controls are important to me, so no, I would not buy this product again.

I bought this mesh system six months ago. It worked perfectly until three days ago. I followed the self-help steps, and it worked for about 24 hours. I then spent over an hour on the phone with a tech from Asus to get it working again. That "fix" lasted less than 12 hours. Today, I requested repair through the warranty. It's going to take almost two weeks. Two weeks! During the summer with three teens at home without wifi. This is crazy. The call center brags about its award-winning warranty service. Who gave them an award for this?! So disappointed. When it works, the range is great and the signal is strong. When it doesn't, it takes lots of time and effort to get it working as it should.

This thing is the best of all worlds. Fast, great app, easy to set up. No subscriptions like Eero and no spotty security and cloud-only access like TP-Link. If you're looking for a mesh wifi system, this is it.
