Awesome headphones for running
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I have NEVER been able to find headphones that the buds will stay in my ears when running. I've tried all the different sizes and as soon as I start sweating they keep popping out and it is SO frustrating and annoying. Also, I wanted some earphones that don't 100% block out other sounds because if I'm running on the road I like to be able to hear cars coming. I decided to give these a shot and I cannot recommend them highly enough! They are bone conduction but I can't tell the difference in sound quality from the bluetooth headphones I usually wear that insert into my ears. Occasionally if a song has really strong base, I can actually feel the bones vibrating next to my ear which is a little weird. The process to connect the headphones to my running watch was incredibly easy. The earphones stay completely solidly in place for however long I want to run. And they are completely comfortable and I wear them with sunglasses with no issue. Sound quality is very good as noted but if you are someone who likes the most magnificent sound, you won't get it from these - that's not what they are made for. Also, while you can hear other sounds, I would not recommend for activities where it would be dangerous to not hear outside noises clearly - I won't wear when biking. Finally the only real negative for me is that I wish the battery lasted a little longer, but all in all I am extremely happy with these headphones.

Love them!

Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5We have 3 pair of these in the house. I bought the normal size ones in red first. My husband loved them, so I gave the, to him. I wanted them tighter on my head so bought myself the minis. They fit great and I love them. My puppy chewed those up, so I bought new ones to replace them. I love that I can hear my music and what is going on around me. I would use them on walks, when I am on my indoor cycle and if I want to listen to things on my phone while my husband sleeps. I used them through the quarantine during phone calls. The sound clarity on both ends was great. I could hear everyone very clearly and they could hear me with no problems. No one ever realized that I was on any kind of headset. The only issue I have had is not being able to hear it well enough when I was using power garden equipment. I switched to earbuds for that. The water and sweat resistance has been tested well and they came through with flying colors.

Exactly what I was looking for
|Posted .I work in a factory where we are allowed to listen to music, but have to be able to hear our coworkers and the machines. So, using only one ear bud was rather annoying. In addition, I have some ear piercings that make "in the ear" head phones difficult to wear. So, I spent the money and purchased these Aftershokz trekz titanium (opted for the mini because I have a small noggin). These were exactly what I was looking for. They fit over the ear, so they don't interfere with my piercings. And I can still clearly hear what my co-workers are saying. Plus, I can hear my music over the noisy machines, but it's not so loud that my co-workers have to listen to what I'm listening to. Although, they did take a bit to get used to. At first, they felt uncomfortable and heavy on my ears. But, if you've ever worn glasses all day, you know that sometimes it just takes a bit of time to get used to the fit and weight of them. After the first week, I barely notice the weight of them. The only other thing that takes a bit of getting used to, is the feel of the bass in some songs. You can feel the vibration from the speakers, right in front of your ears (but only on heavy bass, or higher volumes). I have to adjust the volume, depending on the bass. It probably doesn't help that it vibrates off a couple of my ear piercings that are close to the headphones, when I am wearing them. But, it isn't painful or damaging, it's just weird and unusual. Again, just something that takes a bit of getting used to. Overall, these are 100% worth the money I spent on them! And I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Great headphones that don't hurt my ears.

Quality4 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5I really love these headphones. I gave 4 stars only because they make it difficult to wear sunglasses and a hat when I'm using them outside, but I am getting used to it. Love the sound and great to use when on the phone.

Great headphones

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I bought this pair of headphones after my husband decided he loved them so much, he took the pair I was currently using for himself. I bought this pair because they are a little smaller and fit my head better. Love that they do not go into the ear as I have hearing problems with ear buds. My daughter loved them so much we got her a pair as well. Now she can wear them and still hear what is going on around her when she commutes to work.

These things rock.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5We first saw these at a running store. We tried them out and were fascinated with the technology and loves that they didn’t go in your ear. Waited for the terrific Black Friday sale and purchased them. You will not be disappointed. I would recommend trying them out first before buying bc they are definitely a bit different.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Reasonably priced and good quality. The only reason I gave these four stars is I don’t find the fit near my ears super comfortable. Took some getting used to, and with time they have become more comfortable. The headphones are terrific for phone calls!

Q: QuestionAre the Mini Headphones for children? Or are they able to fit adults too? How much smaller are they compared to the basic model?
Asked by aw437.
- A:Answer According to the aftershokz website, the mini is 3cm smaller. I am a small adult female, and I have the mini trekz. (For reference, with hair accessories, several adult headbands are too big for me, but childrens headbands are way too small for me.) The regular trekz titanium headphones, seemed to hang too low on the back of my neck, and would get bumped around by my shirt/coat collar. But, the mini is a better fit, and just grazes the collar instead of being an obstruction. I don't work for aftershokz, but due to the fit of the mini trekz, I'd say that it was probably built for smaller adults, not necessarily for children. Hope that helped.
