A: I had the same question when I wanted to pair my Bluetooth speaker with this device. First, this device would not work with my tv; I had to plug it into my cable box. I turned it on, and while it was looking for a device with which to pair, I turned on the power to my speaker. They found each other without screen visibility/prompt. I think it just seems to work while both are in pairing mode. This device comes with instructions for pairing, as does my speaker. You could look up the user manual to you headphones for more help if it doesn't pair up as easily as mine did (I didn't go by the booklet instructions, I simply plugged in & turned both on & waited 5 minutes).
