A: HD is high definition.
A: This is a full blown tablet with full internet access. It does have the Kindle app so that books can be read from it.
A: Yes this is the 2016 version, approx 2 mos old maybe a bit less. I just got 2016 model case & screen protector & both fit perfectly.
Q: Does this model have Alexa on it?
A: Alexa is installed when the latest OS is installed. It will be installed automatically.
